Following the above letter, and despite the fact that the 2nd International Biennale of Practical Philosophy has been postponed, we inform you that we are organizing, exclusively for the 2nd Biennale participants, an on line pre-Biennale, which will take place with five-minute interventions and with real-time discussion (& in corresponding sessions) via the Moodle online platform.

This event is intended to be an introduction to the 2nd Biennale, to provide an opportunity for participants to create a common place of thinking & a framework of intimacy with each other & of course, to compensate the feeling of canceling our meeting, due to force majeure, serving at the same time the spirit of encounter that the Biennale of Practical Philosophy wants to cultivate.

Instructions

The sessions on the electronic platform will be recorded, to incorporate transcript data into the pre-Biennale Proceedings which will be published subsequently. 

Content of intervention οn Μoodle:

Each intervention must relate exclusively with the two main, that need to be investigated, issues of the Biennale, concerning on perceptions of practical philosophy and on philosophical gesture. 

As an accompanying material for each intervention will need to be sent in advance an e-poster, which will be uploaded on the Biennale ‘s website.

Instructions for e-posters:

• Format: ppt
• Number of slides: without limit
• English language. Where this is not possible, it can be in French or Greek but necessarily with a summary in English

The format of the e-posters is selected because it enables the integration of visual elements as well as links that refer to videos.

The e-posters must be sent by 25 April 2020.

In addition, they will be given certificates of participation in the pre-Biennale.

Registration:

Everyone that will send an e-poster & will intervene in online sessions, is called to deposit 25 euros, by April 20, through the registration link (https://www.ru.aegean.gr/epos/?id=309&lang=en), choosing to participate by e-poster.

Clarification: After the questions we received, we would like to clarify that due to the limitations of the online environment, through which the pre-biennale will take place, interventions must be individual, since registration on the platform is done via personal e-mails. Based on this, the e-poster can be the result of a teamwork, however the interventions / registrations on the platform will be individual for each team member.

Λόγω των περιορισμών του ηλεκτρονικού περιβάλλοντος, μέσω του οποίου θα διεξαχθεί η pre-biennale, οι παρεμβάσεις πρέπει να είναι ατομικές, μιας & η εγγραφή στην πλατφόρμα γίνεται μέσω προσωπικού e-mail. Mε βάση αυτή τη λογική, το e-poster μπορεί να είναι ομαδικό, ωστόσο οι παρεμβάσεις/εγγραφές στην πλατφόρμα  θα είναι ατομικές για κάθε ένα από τα μέλη της ομάδας.
